This is one of the least common shapes when compared to traditional square tiles or subway tiles. When people do consider hexagon tiles for their home, they often do not get them in one color but rather multiple colors like that of a mosaic picture. Hexagon tiles are much smaller than regular tiles so if you break one, it is not as expensive as replacing a traditional square ceramic tile.
